Reverse NS Examples · Example 2 of 2 in Options

Adds subdomains delegated to ns1.google.com: 27,931 records instead of 4,782, such as hosts under webpkgcache.com and golang.org.

By default the API returns registrable domains only (type: 1). include_subdomains=true adds subdomains (type: 2) whose own NS record names the name server.

The total grows from 4,782 to 27,931; the difference is subdomains. This example sorts by name in reverse (ordering=-punycode), which puts subdomains among the first records: a host under webpkgcache.com (type: 2), zyvwtasyon.com (type: 1) and a host under golang.org (type: 2), all with ns1.google.com in their NS record.

In the response, look at result_count, results[].type, results[].domain.punycode and results[].dns.ns.name_servers.
