Worked examples for the Technology lookup: six public websites built on different stacks. Each response lists what the lookup detected on the page it loaded, with categories, version (when the site reveals it), a confidence score and a CPE name.

Every example is a real response from September 24, 2026. Detection works from what a page exposes (its HTML, scripts, headers and cookies), so the list shows what the homepage reveals, not the whole stack behind it; a technology with confidence below 100 was matched on weaker evidence. urls lists every URL that was loaded, with its HTTP status.

Detection can also be wrong, even at confidence 100. In these examples Choices is reported on five of the six sites, Prototype on three, RequireJS on three and Google AdSense on two; apart from RequireJS on the Django site, none of these names appears in the HTML of the page it was reported for. Treat a single detection as a lead to check, not as a fact.
