`GET https://api.deepinfo.com/v1/lookup/ssl?target=no-such-host.example.com`

A host name that does not resolve: connection_status is not_resolved and parsed is null.

Example 1 of 2 in **Connection Problems** · [SSL Certificate Examples](/reference/lookup/ssl/examples/) · endpoint: [SSL](/reference/lookup/ssl/)

Tags: `param` `target` · `value` `no-such-host.example.com`

Asks for the certificate of `no-such-host.example.com`, a name without an address.

The API cannot connect, so there is no certificate: `connection_status` is `not_resolved`, `parsed` and `certificate` are `null` and `parse_errors` is empty. The HTTP status is still 200.
