`GET https://api.deepinfo.com/v1/lookup/ssl?target=1.1.1.1&port=80`

A port that does not speak TLS (1.1.1.1 on port 80): connection_status is ssl_error and parsed is null.

Example 2 of 2 in **Connection Problems** · [SSL Certificate Examples](/reference/lookup/ssl/examples/) · endpoint: [SSL](/reference/lookup/ssl/)

Tags: `param` `target` · `param` `port` · `value` `1.1.1.1` · `value` `80`

Asks for the certificate of `1.1.1.1` on port `80`, where the server speaks plain HTTP.

The connection opens but the TLS handshake fails: `connection_status` is `ssl_error` and `parsed` is `null`. Use this status to tell "no TLS here" from a host that cannot be reached.
